From Johannesburg board a direct flight to Hoedspruit, your gateway to Kruger. You will be met by your Aquella Travel tour guide who will transfer you to Phelwana Game Lodge.

Check in to your luxury tent or bush villa and enjoy a late lunch and drinks before you meet with your ranger for your first safari drive in the Phelwana Private Game Reserve. During this drive, you can expect to see giraffe, buffalo, zebra, wildebeest and impala to name but a few.

Return to camp after sunset, freshen up and enjoy a freshly prepared dinner under the African night sky.

We depart early today for a morning game drive in the Manyeleti Private Game Reserve.

This 23,000-hectare private game reserve borders directly to the vast Kruger National Park, as well as the famous Sabi Sands and Timbavati Game Reserves. As such, you can be absolutely sure to only experience the best game viewing possible.

We return to the lodge at around 11am for lunch and to relax before our second safari starts at 3pm.

We will be back at camp at around 7pm and you will have the opportunity to freshen up before dinner is served.

After breakfast, depart with your guide on a guided tour of the Panorama Route, a winding road traversing the end of the impressive Drakensberg Mountain Range.

  • God’s Window is a beautiful viewpoint on the edge of the mountain range.
  • Lisbon Waterfalls and the Berlin Waterfalls are two beautiful falls with an interesting history.
  • The Blyde River Canyon is the third largest canyon in the world and the biggest all-green canyon in the world.
  • Bourke’s Luck Potholes is where two rivers meet and a truly spectacular sight!

We will enjoy lunch in the lovely little tourist town of Graskop and we will return to camp before sunset.

The day starts early as you depart on safari in the world-famous Kruger National Park. The whole day is devoted to driving inside the Kruger Park with your private guide in your own private air-conditioned closed vehicle.

Enjoy breakfast and lunch at one of the many stopovers and return to camp as the sun sets over the African bush.

Arriving back at camp, freshen up and enjoy some more of the world famous South African wines while reminiscing about the day’s amazing sightings before dinner is served.

Enjoy an optional morning bush walk before breakfast.

We check out after breakfast and make our way to the nearby endangered species center for a tour of the facility. The Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre is a unique African wildlife facility focusing on conservation and the sustainability of rare, vulnerable and threatened species.

Afterwards you will be transported back to Hoedspruit airport for your flight to Cape Town.

Your tour guide will meet you at the airport, followed by an orientation tour of the city and an afternoon trip up Table Mountain with the cablecar to appreciate the amazing views.

Check in at The Commodore Hotel and head to the nearby V & A Waterfront for dinner.

After breakfast, enjoy one of the most scenic drives in the Cape region today during a full day Cape Peninsula Tour. Highlights include:

  • Hout Bay and Seal Island Boat Cruise: Hout Bay is set in a fold of sea-lapped mountains that look out across the Atlantic Ocean.
  • From the harbour, you will embark on a 45-minute boat cruise to Seal Island to view a large fur seal colony.
  • Chapman’s Peak Drive: Arguably the most scenic drive in the world, with cliffs on one side and ocean on the other, with photographic stops made along the way.
  • Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve and Cape Point: Inside the nature reserve we visit Cape Point, where the stormy waters of the Atlantic are met by the calming influence of the Indian Ocean.
  • Boulders Penguin Colony: One of the most famous penguin colonies can be found at Boulders Beach, an ideal vantage point to watch the local colony of African penguins that call this beach home.

We leave Cape Town behind and take a 40-minute drive to the Cape Winelands.

The Cape Winelands of the Western Cape are one of the big draw cards to South Africa that manage to effortlessly combine the beauty of ripening vineyards, Cape Dutch manor homes and excellent cuisine (and of course award-winning wine) in valleys surrounded by indigo mountains. The towns of Stellenbosch and Franschhoek are within easy reach of Cape Town and are some of the oldest towns in the country with a rich history and culture.

We explore these towns are 3 wine estates before we make our way back to Cape Town.

Depart early for the airport and fly to Victoria Falls.

The Victoria Falls constitutes one of the most spectacular natural wonders of the world and is a must-visit site for any traveler. The local people call it “Mosi-oa-Tunya”, the smoke that thunders and the Zambezi River and its epic waterfall forms the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe. The Victoria falls is 1 708 meters wide, making it the largest curtain of water in the world. Besides the Falls, the Zambezi River, and the National Parks in the vicinity of the Falls offers visitors a range of adrenaline and leisure-based activities.

On arrival you will be met by our experienced ground crew and transferred to your hotel, the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge.

Check-in, relax and unwind and enjoy something to eat and drink before you will be transferred to the Zambezi River for your sunset cruise. Snacks and drinks are included, and you may see elephants, crocodiles and hippos.

Enjoy a scrumptious breakfast before you depart on a guided tour of the majestic Victoria Falls.

Guests will be accompanied through the rainforest, on the edge of the Falls, and your guide will give you a brief history of the Falls as well as detailing the flora, fauna, and other points of interest. Raincoats are provided when needed to protect you against the spray from the Falls.

You will make your way along the designated path which takes you to the various 16 viewpoints along the edge.

After your guided tour the rest of the day will be spent at leisure enjoying any of the other activities on offer here. Lunch can be enjoyed at your hotel.

In the evening, get ready for a culture-focused dinner at The Boma Restaurant. This is an unforgettable combination of entertainment and four-course dining and is highly recommended.

After breakfast you have the morning at leisure before you will be transferred to the airport in Victoria Falls for your flight back to Johannesburg, remembering all too well the amazing experience you had the last 10 days
